REGISTRATION FEE

The standard registration fee, payable before 15 June 2002, is R for members of SAALA and R for non-members. This includes attendance at the conference, lunches, and morning and afternoon refreshments. The conference dinner is not included in this price. It will be held on the evening of Tuesday 9th July 2002, and will cost R . Please tick the appropriate boxes below:

TRANSPORT

Pietermaritzburg's Oribi Airport has flights to and from Johannesburg. Delegates arriving from other destinations will go to Durban's airport, approximately 90km away. Delegates arriving there can either hire a car at the airport or take transport supplied by Natal University to Pietermaritzburg. Please reserve a seat on the bus by ticking your preferences and add R for each return journey per person.

INCOMING DELEGATES

Buses will leave from outside the departure lounge of Durban Airport on Sunday 7 July 2002. Please tick your choice.

Buses will leave Pietermaritzburg for Durban Airport at the conclusion of the conference on Wednesday 10 July 2002. The places of departure will be announced during the conference.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation comprises a single room plus breakfast in one of the Natal University residences, a short walk from the conference venue. The cost is R per night, including breakfast. PLEASE NOTE: ONLY BEDLINEN IS PROVIDED - NO TOWELS OR SOAP!!

CONTRIBUTION DATES AND RECEIPTS

The program for papers is almost completely full, but abstracts for 25 minute papers will still be considered.  All submissions for poster presentations will still be seriously considered.   People still wishing to submit MUST do so by 30 May 2002.  No submissions after this date will be considered.

The majority of people who have already submitted their proposals should have been notified of acceptance.  If you have submitted and have not heard,  please contact Prof R. Wildsmith-Cromarty at WildsmithR@nu.ac.za for further details.
